DELEGATION OF CHINA’S LEADING MEDICAL SCHOOL TO VISIT KAZAKHSTAN FOR THE FIRST TIME

For the first time, Shanghai International Biopharmaceutical Industry Week will be held outside of China. Shanghai delegation will visit Central Asian countries of the Belt and Road Initiative. In particular, expert group of the leading School of Medicine of Shanghai Jiao Tong University will visit Republic of Kazakhstan. Experts in the field of medicine and scientific research from the Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine and prominent representatives of the biopharmaceutical industry will get acquainted with medical institutions in Central Asia. Jiao Tong University School of Medicine ranks #1 of all specialized schools in China, especially in the field of clinical medicine. Accordingly, international knowledge exchange and prospects for cooperation in the field of medicine will be held at the highest level. 2023 Shanghai International Biopharmaceutical Industry Week, themed “Building a Brighter Future Together” has been started on October 16.    As part of the Biopharmaceutical Industry Week, a group of experts from Shanghai will visit Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan for the first time.  International scientific and practical conference will be organized to facilitate educational and business exchanges, followed by signing memorandum of understanding with the China Studies Center, Kazakhstan. The event will mark a new level of cooperation between Chinese and Kazakh medical institutions. The agreement will mark a new round of infrastructure construction of a different meaning. It demonstrates advanced technological medical industry development, the path of efficient circulation of products and the formation of health benefits for patients. Later on, during October 20-24, The Exhibition of Central Asia -China high-quality biomedicine will be held.
Shanghai has the best medical resources in China. As one of the country’s largest economic centers, Shanghai has brought together many well-known medical institutions, professors and experts from China and other countries, said Fan Xianqun, a scientist at the Chinese Academy of Engineering and dean of the Faculty of Medicine at Shanghai Jiao Tong University.    He noted that Shanghai has unique technologies and innovative solutions in the field of medicine. Shanghai is the most important base of the biopharmaceutical industry with a complete production chain, providing strong R&D capacity and a solid foundation for the further development of Chinese medical technology at home and abroad.    The purpose of the Shanghai International Biomedicine and Pharmacy Week is to promote medical equipment, biomedical industry, testing and experimentation in the Belt and Road countries. Thanks to the latest medical technologies of Shanghai experts, they will contribute to the construction of an international medical center, indicating the positive dynamics of the development of a vital field for humans.    This principle is in line with the objectives of the initiative in building a community with a shared future for humanity.    According to Jiao Tong Tianlan, Deputy Director of the Dean’s Office of the Faculty of Medicine of Shanghai University, the international scientific and practical conference and exhibition of high-quality biomedicine expected in the near future are harmoniously “woven” into the program of the Shanghai International Biopharmaceutical Industry Week 2023. The events will integrate Chinese medical production technologies into the countries of the Belt and Road Initiative, thereby inevitably contributing to the development of industry, education and science in the countries of Central Asia.    China is famous not only for its advanced production technology and development capacity, but also for the health and longevity of the nation. Kazakhstan will use this unique scientific and practical experience and is open to cooperation in the field of medicine for the benefit of the future of our citizens.
