The China Studies Center expresses its sincere gratitude to the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China for the generous gift of fundamental works by President Xi Jinping. -“Xi Jinping: The Governance of China” (Volumes I-IV) – A collection of key speeches and articles that elaborate on the concept of effective governance, the role of reforms and openness, and the fundamental principles of China’s development in the new era.
-“Selected Excerpts from Xi Jinping’s Works” (Volumes I-II) – A compilation of significant excerpts from the leader’s writings, presenting his views on the modern world, as well as China’s domestic and foreign policy.
-“The Belt and Road Initiative” – A key publication dedicated to China’s largest global initiative aimed at developing infrastructure, trade and economic cooperation, and cultural exchanges between nations.
-“Xi Jinping on Chinese Modernization” – A book that thoroughly explains the goals and mechanisms of China’s modernization model, which is based on the country’s unique historical and cultural characteristics.
These books provide an opportunity to understand the fundamental principles of China’s policies, which shape the modern world. One of the most significant directions in this regard is the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI), launched by Xi Jinping shortly after the 18th CPC National Congress. This initiative has received broad international support and has become an essential factor in global development.
Kazakhstan holds a special place in the implementation of this initiative, as it was in Astana in 2013 that President Xi Jinping first introduced the concept of the “Silk Road Economic Belt.” In the years that followed, Kazakhstan has become a reliable partner of China in developing transportation corridors, strengthening energy cooperation, advancing digital transformation, and promoting the green economy.
