The first professional analytical center for the systematic study and forecasting of the development of China — our large Eastern neighbor, whose role is consistently and qualitatively changing both at the global level and in the immediate regional environment of the People's Republic of China, has been established and is starting its work in Kazakhstan.

Today, relations between Kazakhstan and China are developing rapidly, the spheres of bilateral cooperation are expanding, and long-term cooperation plans are being built.

The Strategic Initiative of the Silk Road Economic Belt, in which Kazakhstan and Central Asia play one of the most important roles, forms the basis for broad macro-regional cooperation for the next few decades.

The mission of the Center for the Study of China is the systematic expert and information - analytical promotion of political, trade, economic and cultural cooperation between Kazakhstan and the Central Asian countries with the People's Republic of China, as well as practical intellectual assistance to the implementation of the Silk Road Economic Belt initiative.

The goal is to provide the audience with objective forecast and analytical products, verified information and an alternative view of the development of modern China to understand the opportunities and challenges of bilateral and regional cooperation.
